I became an advisor because…
I’ve always had a heart for serving others. It was only fitting that my career would be centered off of helping others in their pursuit of a college degree.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a pilot. I was obsessed with geography and learning where famous landmarks were in the world. My favorite game growing up was Microsoft Flight Simulator where you could fly planes wherever you wanted in the world. After playing that game, I realized I shouldn’t be a pilot.
Advice to college students:
There are few things as rewarding as getting involved as soon as you get to college. You will meet your lifelong friends that you’ll always be connected to. When you begin to make those connections, you realize you’re not alone and there are people all around that will be there for you and support you on your journey at KU and beyond.
